"The ACKCSC will honor the Advanced Performance Award recipients for the first time at the 2003 National Specialty.
These awards will be given to those Members' Cavaliers that achieved one of these advanced titles shown on the following page."
(Achieving one of the following AKC Performance Awards through 2002: UD, UDT, UDX, TDX, MACH, VCD3, OTCH)
"The Advanced Performance Award reflects the dedication of practice, teamwork, companionship and sheer joy of liking the work that
it takes to achieve these titles. Not just every Cavalier or every dog person can accomplish this high level. These Cavaliers and
their human partners are amazing."
"For this first year, all Members' Cavaliers that achieved one of these advanced titles through the end of the 2002 Calendar Year will be
honored. Following the 2003 National, this will become an Annual award for those titles achieved during the calendar year by Members' Cavaliers."
"In addition, the Top Obedience Cavalier based on the Delaney System will also be honored with the Advanced Performance Award. However,
due to the release of the Delaney System results, this award may be an additional year behind the National Specialty." |
